Industrialists resolve to uplift micro entrepreneurs

The Karnataka Chapter of Rifah Chambers of Commerce and Industry has planned to uplift the micro and medium entrepreneurs across the state in the days ahead. A concrete plan of the Chamber was briefed in the Leadership Meet held in Bangalore on August 27.

The state’s new team elected for four years’ term 2023 to 2027 was also introduced by Er. Syed Mumtaz, CEO Rug-Rel Components and Systems Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, who has been re-elected as president. He dealt with the steps forward and crafting of new leadership paradigm.

National general secretary of Rifah, Mr. Mirza Afzal Baig introduced the newly elected national team to the audience and explained the policy framework of the Chamber. Rifah is working for uplifting SMEs of minorities, socially oppressed classes and women empowerment, he explained. Further he said Rifah is a growing chamber of commerce in India serving commercial organizations. It is specially working for Rifah’s mission to create a platform where business is generated by effective networking and to scale up existing Businesses by putting proper systems in place, using latest management techniques.

Philosophy of Rifah is derived from Islam, said Mr Baig. Rifah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is a Public Not For Profit Company incorporated in India on 28 January 2017. Its registered office is in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

In the Year 2015, a group of committed Entrepreneurs joined hands with the objective of restructuring the economic system. Laying the foundation of an interest-free system where there is overall growth of the whole community. A system where Capital is not used as a tool to exploit general masses. Opportunities are created for startups. Capital is channelized properly, adding value to the country’s resources, thereby increasing GDP of the country. Rifah is spread over 100 cities of 20 states with 1000 plus members. International Business, Entrepreneurship & Business Guidance, Business Events & Networking, Business Finance & Compliance, Industrial Clusters & FPOs, Content Creation & Social Media are some of the fronts on which Rifah is working currently.

Office bearers from other state chapters like Gujarat also attended the programme. Dr. Belgami Mohammed Saad, state president of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, and state secretary Mr. Mohammed Yusuf Kanni also addressed the gathering. Local unit presidents and secretaries from around 20 cities were also present.
