New Delhi, April 29: In a heartwarming display of unity, esteemed leaders from various religious backgrounds gathered at Vikas Nagar on Sunday to celebrate Eid Milan Samaroh under the distinguished leadership of President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Delhi, Salimullah Khan.
Other distinguished leaders, including Waris Husain, Mufti Sohail Ahmed Qasmi, and President of Welfare Party of India Delhi Zakir Saifi graced the occasion. The event saw the participation of Dr. M.P. Singh, President of Sadbhavana Vikas Nagar; Sardar Narendra Singh and other prominent figures.
Expressing their thoughts, the attendees emphasized the importance of spreading a positive message to Indian society, aimed at fostering harmony and averting discord. Discussions centred on fostering mutual understanding and dialogue among communities to steer clear of misunderstandings and conflicts.
The gathering witnessed fruitful conversations among individuals from diverse backgrounds, with about 260 persons, including 160 Muslim men and women actively engaging in the exchange of ideas.
