Aligarh: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has recognised and honoured the outstanding performance of the AMU Gas Agency, which serves around 9,000 consumers, including teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as pensioners of Aligarh Muslim University.
During a felicitation ceremony, Mr. Shivam Singhal, General Manager, IOCL, presented the Annual Performance Report to Prof. Naima Khatoon, Vice Chancellor, AMU, and Prof. Mohd Mohsin Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor. He informed that the AMU Gas Agency secured a perfect score in all five assessed parameters – Delivery Authentication Code (DAC), Pre-Delivery Check (PDC), Customer Feedback, eKYC, and Digital Booking.
Mr. Singhal praised the Agency’s commitment to safety, customer-centric approach, and service leadership. He highlighted its role in setting benchmarks for prompt LPG delivery and helpline services, noting that the Agency’s dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction serves as an inspiration to others in the industry.
As a token of appreciation, Mr. Singhal presented a memento to Prof. Naima Khatoon, Registrar Mr. Mohammad Imran, IPS and Prof. Riaz Ahmad, Member-in-Charge of AMU Gas Agency, acknowledging the commendable services rendered by the Agency.
Prof. Khatoon lauded the efforts of Prof. Riaz Ahmad and Mr. Mohd Kashif, Associate Member-in-Charge, and congratulated them on the Agency’s achievement.
Prof. Mohd Mohsin Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor, also appreciated the commitment and smooth functioning of the AMU Gas Agency.
Prof. Vibha Sharma, Member-in-Charge, Public Relations Office, was also present on the occasion.
Prof. Riaz Ahmad expressed gratitude to the university administration and IOCL for their continued support in maintaining service excellence at the AMU Gas Agency.
