The Indian Muslims for Civil Rights (IMCR) held a press conference today at their office in Hazrat Nizamuddin, New Delhi. Former MP and IMCR Chairman Mohammad Adeeb praised Iran for its strong resistance against Israel and the US.
He called Iran’s stand a historic moment for the Muslim world. He also described Iran as a unifying force after its recent military clash with Israel.
The press meet came after a high-level IMCR delegation visited the Iranian Embassy in Delhi. The team was led by Adeeb and met Ambassador Dr. Iraj Elahi.
The delegation included former Chief Justice of Patna High Court Justice Iqbal Ansari, journalist and IMCR National Coordinator Anzar ul-Bari, retired Lt. Colonel Syed Javed Mehdi Jafari, Supreme Court lawyer Fuzail Ayyubi, and IMCR Deputy Treasurer Mohammad Ilyas Saifi.
Ambassador Elahi thanked Indian civil society for its support. He spoke about the heavy losses Iran faced during the recent Twelve-Day War with Israel. He also highlighted the destruction, loss of lives, and the challenges Iran endured. He said support from India was encouraging.
In his remarks, Adeeb praised Iran’s leadership. He especially praised Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei for standing firm. He said Iran had made the Muslim world proud.
“Iran has not only defeated Israel but also sent a strong message to the US,” Adeeb said.
He recalled earlier visits to the Iranian Embassy after attacks on Iranian scientists and military leaders. He said IMCR had extended condolences and support during those hard times.
Adeeb said Iran’s strength has changed how the world sees it. He added that Muslim nations were once afraid of the West, but not anymore.
He remarked, “Muslims don’t just stitch shoes; they also make world-class missiles.” He stressed Iran’s advanced technology and military strength.
He ended by saying that Ayatollah Khamenei’s leadership has given new courage to Muslims. He said it has broken their fears and revived the spirit of resistance.
