Iran Retaliates Against Israel: Hezbollah and Hamas Stand as Pillars of Resistance

October 3: In a powerful show of defiance against Israeli aggression, Iran launched over 400 ballistic missiles targeting Israel, marking a strong response to the assassinations of key leaders from Hamas and Hezbollah. These groups, which have long been symbols of resistance in the face of oppression, now find themselves once again at the center of a conflict that challenges not only their existence but also the future of their people, reported Anadolu Agency.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) made it clear that the missile strikes were in direct retaliation for the assassinations of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC Commander Abbas Nilforoshan. These leaders, known for their unwavering commitment to the cause of Palestinian liberation and the defense of Muslim lands, were targeted in what many see as an attempt by Israel to weaken the core of the resistance movement.

Hezbollah, under Nasrallah’s leadership, has remained a steadfast force against Israeli occupation, particularly in Lebanon. Despite facing enormous challenges, the group has shown remarkable resilience, earning widespread respect and admiration in the region. Its alliance with Iran has only strengthened its resolve to stand up against Israeli aggression, acting as a formidable shield for the oppressed.

Similarly, Hamas, which governs Gaza, has endured countless assaults and blockades by Israel, but it has remained a beacon of hope for Palestinians. Haniyeh’s assassination in Tehran was not just an attack on Hamas but on the entire Palestinian resistance movement. Iran’s missile strikes are a testament to the strong bond between Tehran, Hamas, and Hezbollah, all united in their mission to oppose the occupation and defend the rights of the Palestinian people.

The retaliatory strikes were seen as a necessary and just response to Israel’s continued targeting of leaders who represent the voice of resistance. Both Hezbollah and Hamas have faced immense international pressure, but their determination to stand up for justice and their people remains undeterred. As the missiles struck back at Israel, they symbolized not just military action but the unbreakable spirit of those who refuse to bow to occupation.

In the broader picture, Hezbollah and Hamas remain critical to the fight against Israeli expansionism, ensuring that the cause of Palestinian freedom and sovereignty continues to resonate across the world. Their resistance is not merely a regional struggle; it is a stand against global injustice and oppression.
