Iran Warns of Unstoppable Retaliation Against Israel Under Khamenei’s Orders

In a bold warning that escalates already simmering tensions in the Middle East, Iran has declared it is prepared to launch devastating strikes against Israel, with plans so severe that “even the United States may not be able to save Netanyahu.” The warning came from Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Iran’s Armed Forces, who said the retaliatory blueprint was formulated under the direct guidance of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as per a report by the Hindustan Times.
According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, the plan for “decisive retaliation” remains on hold due to the current fragile truce, but Tehran is fully prepared to activate it should Israel launch further aggression. “If they attack Iran again, they will see what we are capable of doing,” said Mousavi, hinting at the possibility of an unprecedented military response.
This warning follows weeks of conflict that drew in global powers and led to massive casualties. On June 22, the United States, under former President Donald Trump’s leadership, launched strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities in Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow, as part of what he named “Operation Midnight Hammer.” Trump claimed the operation had crippled Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, though leaked Pentagon documents and Iranian officials have refuted those claims, insisting the damage was minimal.
In retaliation, Iran fired missiles at U.S. military bases in Iraq and Qatar, further deepening the regional crisis. The conflict, which originated with Israeli attacks on Iranian military and nuclear sites, resulted in the deaths of around 900 people in Iran and 29 in Israel.
While a temporary ceasefire is currently in effect, the situation remains precarious. Iran’s leadership has made it clear that any new attack could dissolve the truce and ignite a much broader war—one that could spiral beyond regional boundaries.
With both global and regional actors closely watching developments, Iran’s fresh warning underscores the volatility in the region and the risk of escalation that may challenge even U.S. influence in the region.
