Iran’s Foreign Minister Issues Stern Warning to Trump over Alleged Nuclear Strike Plot

Tehran accuses former U.S. president of colluding with Israel, violating UN Charter, and risking global conflict

In a strongly worded video message released on Tuesday, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issued a sharp criticism of U.S. President Donald Trump, accusing him of conspiring with Israel to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities and jeopardising both American and regional security for personal and political gain.

The statement, broadcast on Iranian state television and carried by Al Jazeera, has circulated widely on social media. It framed Trump’s alleged actions as reckless, illegal, and morally indefensible.

“He colluded with Israel and put countless American men and women in danger because of his arrogance and incompetence,” said Araghchi in the video. “He deceived all voters who trusted him. He did not take the UN Charter seriously and launched an attack on our country without any legitimate reason.”

The Iranian diplomat further accused Trump of violating international law and failing to uphold the responsibilities expected of a global leader. Citing the United Nations Charter and Iran’s right to defend its sovereignty, Araghchi emphasised that Iran reserves the right to respond to military aggression.

“We will strictly follow international law to take all necessary measures to resist military aggression. He must bear full responsibility for the consequences of his actions,” he warned.

Moral Critique of U.S. Priorities

In an unusual rhetorical shift, Araghchi contrasted the military aggression with domestic issues in the United States, criticising what he described as misplaced national priorities under Trump’s leadership.

“I really don’t understand. The United States is so poor that it has no money for healthcare. How many poor children can’t even afford to go to school? Yet he was willing to waste huge amounts of money to launch an unnecessary war,” he said.

“A selfish person like him is not worthy of being the president of the United States. He will suffer the consequences in the future.”

This comes after the U.S. military, in coordination with Israel, launched airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities – in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan – on Monday, according to both Iranian state sources and international media reports. Iran has described these attacks as acts of aggression and violations of its sovereignty.

The Iranian leadership has also pointed to what it calls “Western double standards,” arguing that Iran’s right to national defence is frequently ignored by global powers that themselves possess vast nuclear arsenals.

No Response from Trump or International Community

As of the time of publication, Donald Trump and his representatives have not issued any response to the video message. Likewise, no official statement has been released by the U.S. government or the Pentagon. The international community has also remained silent.

In addition, no independent expert analysis has yet emerged to assess the authenticity, legal implications, or geopolitical impact of the Iranian minister’s claims.
