Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Urges Muslim Nations to Sever Ties with Israel in Hajj Message

Tehran/Mecca – In his annual Hajj message, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a powerful call to all Muslim nations to cut diplomatic and financial ties with Israel. Denouncing the “savagery of the Zionist regime in Gaza,” Khamenei stated that continued support to Israel only fuels more bloodshed and injustice against Palestinians, reported the Hindustan Times.
Khamenei urged Muslim leaders and governments to take a firm stand, isolate Israel, and halt all forms of aid—economic, military, or logistical. He emphasized the need for unity among Muslims during this sacred season of Hajj and said pilgrims gathering in Mecca should voice their disapproval and urge their governments to take immediate action.
He didn’t hold back in blaming the United States, accusing it of being a complicit partner in the violent aggression inflicted upon Gaza. Khamenei’s message resonated strongly across parts of the Muslim world, where tensions have been escalating due to Israel’s continued military operations.
This address is part of a broader Iranian diplomatic campaign to mobilize international opposition against Israel amid its ongoing war in Gaza. Iran continues to back Palestinian resistance groups, and its leadership often uses platforms like Hajj to rally public and political sentiment across Muslim nations.
