– Raheem Khan

Sangod (Kota): The Students Islamic Organisation (SIO) Sangod announced the results of Islamic Knowledge Test (IKT-2024) at a grand ceremony held in Jama Masjid Hall. The event, graced by several notable personalities from the city and beyond, celebrated the achievements of the winning students.

Azam Khan, Assistant Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Rajasthan, attended as the chief guest. Other distinguished guests included Muttalib Mirza (Secretary, JIH Rajasthan), Asrar Ahmed (Mandal President, Sangod), Afasar Pradhan (Vice Chairman Representative, Nagar Palika Sangod), Mirza Mufid (Sarpanch, Panchayat Khaildaran), Aslam Mirza (State Secretary, INTUC Union), and Salim Ansari, along with numerous other dignitaries.

Addressing the gathering, Azam Khan highlighted the broader vision behind IKT-2024. He stated that the test aims to strengthen mutual understanding and community harmony among different groups. He emphasised that such initiatives help dispel misconceptions and foster brotherhood between Muslim and non-Muslim communities. The exchange of knowledge and mutual respect are crucial for building a harmonious society, he said.

Azam Khan also underlined the dual purpose of the event: promoting Islamic education and nurturing responsible, morally grounded citizens. He noted that under the theme “Education for Reconstruction,” the test equips students with moral and religious values, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to society.

The test saw enthusiastic participation from students across various sections. Awards were distributed to top three students in four categories: Middle Group, Secondary Group, Senior Group, and College Group. A total of ₹12,500 in cash prizes, along with mementos, books, and certificates, were presented to the winners. Students who secured the fourth to tenth positions received mementos, books, and certificates, while all participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their efforts.

Shahrukh Mirza, Unit President of SIO Sangod, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the guests, participants, and their families, extended special thanks to the volunteers and donors.

SIO Sangod reiterated its commitment to organising similar events in the future, aiming to continue fostering education, harmony, and community development.
