Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Beawar Organizes Istikbal-e-Ramzan Program

Beawar: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Beawar hosted an Istikbal-e-Ramzan program at Karbala Marg in Beawar, drawing a large gathering of activists, respected ulema, and mosque imams.

The event began with Maulana Shariful Hasan delivering a tazkir bil Quran (Quranic reminder). In his keynote address, chief speaker Dr. Javed Hussain highlighted the virtues and importance of the holy month of Ramzan. He described it as a month of transformation and revolution within individuals. Allah has made fasting obligatory for all adult Muslim men and women for the full 30 days.”This is a month of training and moral upbringing,” Dr. Hussain said. “Muslims strive to eliminate all evils and weaknesses from within during fasting, fostering taqwa (God-consciousness), piety, and devotion to God.”He emphasized that Ramzan teaches self-control, restraint, and patience.

By experiencing hunger and thirst, Muslims empathize with the poor, motivating them to perform more good deeds and assist the needy, orphans, and widows. Dr. Hussain noted that the Quran the final message from God to all humanity was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during this month. It offers clear guidance, distinguishing truth from falsehood. “We must study, understand, act upon, and share the Quran as much as possible this month,” he urged.

The program concluded with thanks from Jamaat-e-Islami Hind’s district secretary for Byawar, Rajsamand, and Pali, Mumtaz Ali, followed by prayers.
