Jaipur: The Dalit-Tribal-Minority-Women Repression Resistance Movement, Rajasthan, is set to organise a “Constitution Protection, Goodwill, and Brotherhood Conference” at Pink City Press Club Auditorium here Sunday. Representatives from all organisations involved in the repression resistance movement across Rajasthan will participate in the event.
The conference will focus on addressing the increasing attacks on the Constitution and constitutional institutions. Participants will strategize ways to counter these challenges and safeguard the integrity of the Constitution.
The event will also outline plans to combat forces disrupting communal harmony and brotherhood in the state. A campaign aimed at fostering mutual goodwill and strengthening societal bonds will also be launched.
A resolution to isolate and oppose communal forces that spread hatred and incite conflicts for political gain will be a key agenda. To further this goal, goodwill and brotherhood committees will be formed at various levels across the state. These committees will spearhead political and ideological efforts against narrow-minded and divisive ideologies.
The conference will also tackle the rising incidents of caste-based oppression, delving into their ideological and socio-economic roots. It will aim to accelerate efforts to dismantle the caste system and promote equality.
It will also focus on women’s rights. A roadmap will be developed to intensify the struggle against violence targeting women and to uphold their rights and safety.
