Aurangabad: The “Rights of the Quran” Conference and the Certificate Distribution Ceremony for the Online Tajweed-ul-Quran Course were successfully held at Majidiya Function Hall, Silk Mills Colony, Aurangabad. Organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Railway Station Unit, the event highlighted the importance of Quranic teachings and proper recitation.
In his presidential speech, Maulana Abdul Qawi Falahi, Secretary of the Family Counseling Center, Maharashtra Zone eloquently discussed the rights of the Quran and the responsibilities of Muslims. He presented a well-reasoned explanation of these rights, stressing the importance of practicing them. He asserted that in the challenging times faced by the Ummah today, the only solution lies in adhering firmly to the Quran and spreading its message to all of humanity.
The conference featured distinguished scholars, including Maulana Muizuddin Farooqi, Qari Asharah Dr. Syed Anwarullah Qadri Husaini, and Qari Muhammad Muhibullah. In his speech, Maulana Farooqi emphasized the Quran as a complete guide to life, urging attendees to engage deeply with its message. Qari Asharah stressed the necessity of Tajweed, encouraging excellence in recitation.
The Tajweed-ul-Quran course, conducted from June to December 2024, saw 52 candidates successfully complete the program. Since its inception in 2022, 182 students – primarily women – have graduated. The course was led by Qari Basheer Ahmad Khan.
The event saw over 300 attendees, with successful participants receiving certificates and the book Quran Par Amal. The program concluded with a supplication by Maulana Muhammad Muhibullah, underscoring the Quran’s enduring significance.
