Ambad: The Ambad unit of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) has intensified its efforts to promote social harmony, justice, and community engagement through various educational and humanitarian initiatives. JIH continues to play an active role in fostering spiritual awareness, social development, interfaith dialogue, and ethical economic practices.
According to Ambad Taluka President Sadiq Mazahiri, the group regularly visits local traders every Saturday to spread awareness about unity, peace, and civic responsibility. These interactions focus on strengthening brotherhood among all communities and promoting a message of oneness. Mazahiri emphasized that the movement works tirelessly to remind people that humanity is one and collective progress depends on cooperation and understanding.
The Ambad chapter has organized a series of public events such as Eid Milad gatherings, blood donation drives, seminars, and discussions on contemporary social issues. These events often bring together leaders from various religions, social workers, and citizens on a common platform to encourage dialogue and mutual respect.
During the pandemic, Jamaat volunteers distributed grocery kits to struggling families. They have also supported those affected by natural disasters, honored meritorious students, and conducted special educational programs for girls. Through campaigns like “Islam for All” and “From Darkness to Light,” the organization continues to promote peace, equality, and justice in the region.
