New Delhi: Thirty eight candidates from the Residential Coaching Academy at Jamia Millia Islamia cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. Results were declared on March 6. Four candidates secured positions within the top 50 ranks with All India Ranks 7, 14, 24 and 29.
The Residential Coaching Academy functions under the Centre for Coaching and Career Planning at the university. Candidates from the academy secured posts across various All India and Central Services. Among the successful candidates, fifteen are women.
University officials described the outcome as a major milestone for the institution. Vice Chancellor Prof Mazhar Asif congratulated the candidates and praised the faculty and staff who guided them through the preparation process. He said the performance reflects a culture of discipline, perseverance and academic focus among students preparing for one of the country’s most competitive examinations.
Registrar Prof Md Mahtab Alam Rizvi also congratulated the achievers. He highlighted the strong participation of women candidates and said their success will inspire future aspirants preparing at the academy. He thanked the academic and administrative staff for their role in mentoring students.
The Residential Coaching Academy operates under the guidance of Prof Samina Bano, Professor In Charge. She credited the result to sustained academic training, mentorship programmes and the commitment shown by students during preparation.
University officials said the academy aims to prepare students for public service and strengthen representation in the country’s administrative institutions. The latest results place Jamia Millia Islamia among institutions contributing trained candidates to India’s civil services.
