New Delhi, Dec. 8: Kamyab India will organize the biggest exhibition, Jamia Nagar Fest during 9-10 December to empower small and young entrepreneurs at Milli Model School ground near Alshifa Multispeciality Hospital, in Jamia Nagar here.
Arshiya Faiz, one of the organisers of the Fest, told Radiance, said, “We have all the team from Jamia student alumni, around 10 people. We have hired volunteers as well from Jamia and other schools. Basically it was mere an idea to provide some platform to all the small or online business owners who are just not getting space. In fact, the people living inside their houses are not aware of these businesses if they are doing something on online platform. So, we wanted to provide some platform where they can communicate with the community especially from the nearby people.”
Arshiya added, “This is just a startup. We are going to have a lot of small business owners, young entrepreneurs and new ideas. We are going to promote them on the social media for connecting those people. People will know more when they will connect with us. Then we will do a lot of things apart from exhibition.”
“In this exhibition there will be around 150 stalls, 200 plus vendors because there is some sharing, 37 food stalls and 137 normal stalls. We also have new concept of stalls called canopy stalls. It is a bit expensive but we thought to have something very different. Alhamdulillah within 15 days we have booked all our stalls. The activities that will be on display are clothing, jewelry, handmade products, and handcraft; calligraphy artists are there and a lot of things are something very unique. Also, home bakers, home cooks will participate. They have their home kitchens, cloud kitchens; in fact, some are also from restaurants that have started as just they’re young entrepreneurs,” she said.
“We have made space for the kids where we are having some game zone, we have bubble house, trampoline for the game, competition for the kids like painting competition, drawing competition, clay art. We are having musical chair and talent show as well,” said the organizer of the event.
