New Delhi: In a strong statement reinforcing national unity and the fight against terrorism, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Madani has expressed full support for the Indian armed forces and welcomed their recent counter-terror operations. His remarks come at a time of heightened security tensions in various parts of the country, especially following incidents of terrorism and anti-national activities, reported the Deccan Herald.
Maulana Madani, emphasized that terrorism is a threat to humanity and must be condemned by all sections of society. In his statement, he said, “We stand with our country’s armed forces in their action against terrorism and anti-national elements. Terrorism has no religion, and those who indulge in such activities are enemies of both humanity and the country.”
The Jamiat chief’s remarks send a powerful message of solidarity and patriotism, especially from within the Indian Muslim community. He reiterated that Islam stands for peace and justice, and those who misuse religion to justify violence are distorting its true message.
Maulana Madani also called on citizens to maintain unity and harmony and to resist attempts by divisive forces to create rifts among communities. He underlined the role of religious and social organizations in strengthening the social fabric of the nation and promoting a culture of peace and mutual respect.
