JIH Adilabad Hosts Training Workshop for Teachers

Adilabad: A training workshop titled “Connecting Minds: Communication Skills and AI for Transformative Teaching” was organised by Education Department of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Telangana, at Jamaat Office near Netaji Chowk here Sunday.

The workshop aimed at enhancing teaching skills and providing guidance on the effective use of Artificial Intelligence in education.

Dr. S.M. Fasihullah, Assistant Professor at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad delivered a lecture on communication skills, emphasising the importance of teachers developing strong communication abilities to engage effectively with students and excel in their profession.

Prof. Mohammed Abdul Sami Siddiqui, Director CPDUMT, MANUU highlighted the role of AI technology, including tools like ChatGPT, in improving classroom teaching. He demonstrated practical applications of these tools and stressed the importance of modern technology in enhancing teaching effectiveness, noting that advanced technology has simplified many aspects of a teacher’s role.

During the workshop, Tanveer Ahmed, Director of Education Department, JIH Telangana delivered a keynote address, discussing the role of teachers in driving social change through education. He encouraged educators to adopt modern technology to bring positive transformations to students’ lives.

The event saw active participation from a large number of male and female teachers, who found the workshop highly beneficial for their teaching careers. Participants commended the organisers for their efforts and expressed hope for similar programmes in the future to further enhance teaching standards.

The workshop concluded with gratitude extended to all attendees and speakers by the local leadership of JIH Adilabad. Abdul Jaleel conducted the proceedings of the programme.
