JIH Ajmer organizes Istiqbal-e-Ramadan program

Beawar, March 12: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, District-Ajmer, Beawar and Rajsamand organized a 10-day “Istiqbal-e-Ramadan” campaign from March 2 to 11, aiming to make people aware of the importance and virtue of Ramadan.

During the campaign, activists met people in villages and towns, delivered speeches at gatherings and Friday sermons, organized programs in schools, used social, print and electronic media to reach out to thousands of people with the message of Ramadan.

As part of the campaign, a program was organized at Iqra Public Secondary School Beawar on Monday. Presided over by Mumtaz Ali, Joint Secretary, JIH Rajasthan, the program witnessed Mahboob Khan, Director, Iqra School as chief guest and Hafiz Muhammad Imtiaz and Saddam Khan as special guests.

Hafiz Imtiaz said fasting is obligatory for every Muslim man and woman. He who observes it will be rewarded greatly, and he who doesn’t will be punished. He said fasting has been obligatory in some form or other in every era and time for all occasions and communities.

Mahboob Khan said Ramadan is a training month for us. When we fast, we do not lies, backbite, gossip, abuse, or do any immoral or indecent act; thus we become able to keep from evils for 11 months.

Mumtaz Ali said the special feature of this blessed month is that Allah has revealed all the scriptures to His messengers in this month itself, and finally the Quran was also revealed to Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ in this month itself, which teaches the entire human race how to live life.

Saddam Khan and Faizan Khan, a 9th class student of Saint Paul School Beawar, also spoke.

The Muslims were appealed to make full arrangements of offering daily prayers, fasting, Tarawih, reciting the Quran, and giving Zakat, and charity in this blessed month.

Irfan Khan, Muhammad Amjad, Hameed Khan, Riyaz Kathat, Muhammad Javed, Faizan Khan, Asif Kathat, Arif Kathat, Balkishan Bano, Bismillah, Afdeen Bano, Tamanna, Afroze Bano, Ayesha, Anisha and others were present.
