Hyderabad: A grand public session marked the culmination of the Arkan Meet of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind here on Saturday, following Maghrib prayers. The event, attended by members and affiliates of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind from across Hyderabad and surrounding regions besides the members coming from all over the country, witnessed thought-provoking addresses by key leaders of the movement.
Prominent speakers included National President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Syed Sadatullah Husaini, President of the Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) Ramees E.K., President of the Federation of Girls Islamic Organisations (FGIO) Sumayya Roshan, and Secretary of the Women’s Wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Rahamatunnissa A. Their motivational speeches emphasised unity, purpose, and the transformative role of the movement in society.
In the concluding session, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Syed Sadatullah Husaini, inspired the packed auditorium with a rousing new slogan for the upcoming year: “Year of RISE.” He declared, “Shaping Public Opinion” as the mission for the term, outlining a focused agenda across four key areas:
R – Reaching out to fellow citizens to build bridges and clear misconceptions.
I – Individual contributions in areas such as Dawah, Islah, Tarbiyah, and community service.
S – Solidifying a shift in public opinion toward justice and equity.
E – Engaging with all sections of the Muslim Ummah to foster unity and collaboration.
Husaini called upon members to embrace the spirit of perseverance and dedication.
The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to make 2025 the Year of RISE, a year of standing firm, uniting efforts, and creating a meaningful impact on society.
