JIH Delhi Extends Aid to Fire Victims in Bawana

New Delhi: A massive fire broke out in the jhuggis of Bawana, Delhi, destroying everything in its path. While no casualties were reported, the residents suffered extensive material losses, leaving them with nothing but despair.

Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Delhi quickly stepped in to provide relief for the affected families. Essential items such as thick double-bed blankets, gas cylinders, and foam sheets for bedding were distributed to help the victims recover and rebuild their lives.

The relief efforts were led by former JIH Delhi president Abdul Waheed and current president Salimullah Khan. Several other prominent residents of Bawana also participated in the distribution, showing solidarity with the victims.

The affected families expressed deep gratitude for the timely support provided by JIH Delhi. Such initiatives underscore the importance of community-driven efforts in alleviating the suffering of those struck by calamities.
