Hyderabad: The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Hyderabad successfully hosted the Twitter Influencers Meet at Zikra High School, bringing together over 100 participants, including prominent Twitter influencers and JIH cadre. The event, centred around the theme “Together in Narrative Building,” focused on the power of social media in shaping public discourse and fostering responsible narrative building.
The programme commenced with an inspiring opening by Ahmed, Programme Convenor, who initiated the proceedings. A recitation from the Holy Quran by Hameeduddin Quadri set a reverent tone for the discussions to follow.
In his inaugural address, Shariff Tajuddin, Media Secretary, presented the “Where We Stand Hyderabad Media Report,” providing context on the current media landscape and underscoring the importance of responsible narrative building in today’s digital age.
Dr. Saleem Khan, JIH Markazi Majlisi-e-Shura Member and guest speaker, shared valuable insights into the role of media, highlighting the ethical considerations and the significant impact of online discourse, emphasising the responsibility of influencers in shaping narratives that contribute positively to society.
An engaging panel discussion followed, featuring Twitter influencers and guided by Dr. Raza Khan. The session delved into effective strategies for online engagement and the role of influencers in responsible narrative shaping on social media platforms.
The Media Department honoured the contributions of the participating influencers through a felicitation ceremony, recognising their influence and potential in shaping public discourse.
Dr. Mubashir Ahmed, JIH Hyderabad City President, delivered the concluding speech, emphasising the core theme of “Together in Narrative Building”. He called for collaborative efforts in building positive narratives that contribute to the betterment of society, reinforcing the power of unity and collective action in shaping the future.
