Jalgaon: The Women’s Department of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Jalgaon, organized a human chain at GS Ground here today as part of the national monthlong campaign “Morality is Freedom”. Sixty women participated, holding placards addressing issues like vulgarity in the name of freedom, sexual harassment, and the spread of Western culture.
Pamphlets, books on various topics, and copies of the Quran were distributed. A signature campaign was also conducted, with media persons covering the event and police ensuring security.
Members of Girls Islamic Organisation and Students Islamic Organisation participated enthusiastically. Visitors from diverse faiths and religions appreciated Jamaat-e-Islami Hind’s initiative.
This event aimed to promote moral values and safeguard Indian society’s integrity.
