Kolkata: As part of the Seerah Campaign launched by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind West Bengal from 5 to 14 September 2025, a successful programme was organised at Allama Mohammad Iqbal Girls’ School in the Khidderpore locality here Saturday. The event, hosted by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Kolkata Metro City, drew a notable gathering.
Prominent intellectuals and religious scholars highlighted the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the Mercy for Humanity. Among the key speakers were Dr. (Prof.) Zafeer Ahmad, Assistant Nazim, West Bengal; Shadab Masoom, Secretary, Kolkata Metro City; Maulana Abrar Alam Misbahi; and Maulana Md. Fazlullah, Imams of Rajab Ali Masjid and Solaana Masjid respectively.
The programme was compered by senior Jamaat member Md. Salim and concluded with a solemn dua (supplication).
