New Delhi – On the eve of Independence Day, Syed Sadatullah Hussaini, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), extended warm greetings to all Indian citizens, highlighting the intrinsic link between justice and genuine freedom.
In his message, Hussaini stated, “True freedom thrives only where justice prevails. Let us pledge to protect both for every citizen.” He urged the nation to renew its commitment to ensuring equality, fairness, and rights for all, irrespective of religion, caste, or creed.
The JIH leader’s remarks come as the country prepares to mark another year of independence, a moment he described as an opportunity to reflect on the nation’s democratic ideals and collective responsibilities.
