Hyderabad, Feb. 5: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind president Syed Sadatullah Husaini has inaugurated Muslim General Hospital in Toli Chowki area here.

A non-profitable multispecialty hospital with modern facilities, it has come up in Janaki Nagar colony.

This is the fourth hospital in Hyderabad to come up in the city under the management of Islamic Social Service Society.

The JIH president commended the efforts of the Society to provide quality healthcare services to people at affordable cost. He said qualified and experienced doctors will be providing the services for patients.

He mentioned that the Society has been providing its services for a long time and already running three hospitals.

He stated affordable hospitals play a pivotal role in providing healthcare services to those in need, embodying the spirit of compassion and altruism. These institutions operate with a primary focus on serving the underserved, often in economically disadvantaged communities.

The hospital has a panel of highly qualified and experienced doctors, pharmacy and ambulance facilities and well equipped and ultramodern laboratory.

JIH Telangana president Dr MKM Zafar said opening of this hospital fulfilled a long-cherished dream. He pointed out that Muslim Maternity and General Hospital is already a popular name in the old city of Hyderabad and it has been serving people for a long time. It will be a big boon for those who can’t afford costly treatment.

The facility was launched with a robust system and best SoPs. He hoped that Muslim General Hospital will play its role in providing healthcare services for people of this region of the city.

The hospital provides its services in different specialities like obstetrics, gynaecology, internal medicine, paediatrics, pulmonology, neurology, orthopaedics, endocrinology, diabetology, gastroenterology, dermatology and ENT.

MKM Zafar said that in the first phase, it is a multispecialty hospital but will be later upgraded to a super speciality hospital. “It will specially cater to women, children and elderly. We will make it affordable for poor and middle classes who can’t afford treatment in major hospitals,” he said.
