JIH President Syed Sadatullah Husaini Condemns Israel’s Massacre in Gaza, Slams US Support and Global Silence

New Delhi: The President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), Syed Sadatullah Husaini, has strongly condemned Israel’s latest massacre in Gaza, denouncing the United States’ complicity and the global community’s inaction.
In a statement to the media, the JIH President stated, “We vehemently condemn Israel’s brutal assault on Gaza, strategically launched during the pre-dawn Suhoor of Ramadan. This inhumane massacre, which has claimed the lives of over 400 Palestinians, including more than 170 innocent children, underscores Israel’s utter disregard for human life and international laws. The attack, carried out with American approval, exposes the sham of ceasefire agreements and the West’s abject failure in holding Israel accountable for its war crimes.”
Syed Sadatullah Husaini further criticized the United States and its allies for enabling Israel’s aggression. “The US-backed Israeli offensive, executed deliberately to maximize civilian casualties during a sacred time, is a flagrant violation of justice and humanity. Once again, the West, led by America, has turned a blind eye to Israel’s war crimes, providing unwavering support instead of enforcing accountability. It is imperative that the international community, including Muslim-majority nations, moves beyond mere statements and takes decisive action against Israel’s atrocities. Continued silence and inaction will only expose their hollow claims of supporting justice and peace.”
Reaffirming solidarity with the Palestinian struggle, the JIH President asserted, “This is not merely a territorial conflict but a fight for freedom, justice, and survival. Jamaat-e-Islami Hind stands firmly with the Palestinian people and demands an immediate halt to Israel’s war crimes. The United Nations and global leaders must take concrete measures to hold Israel accountable for its violations of human rights and international law. While we acknowledge the Indian Foreign Ministry’s expression of concern and statements from some political leaders, we urge the Indian government to take bold and decisive steps to curb this unprovoked violence and ensure the strict enforcement of a ceasefire. It is our moral obligation to raise our voices, demand justice, and strive for a future where Palestinians can live in peace, dignity, and security.”
