JIH Pusad Hosts Local Journalists on Marathi Journalist Day

Pusad: On January 6, in observance of Marathi Journalist Day, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Pusad, organised a special gathering to honour local journalists. Prominent Marathi news reporters and 20 channel journalists from Pusad participated in the event. Additionally, members of the renowned social worker group, Manuski Chi Bint, were present, making a total of 27 influential local Marathi journalists in attendance.

The event’s keynote speaker, Sheikh Naeem addressed the journalists, sharing insights on the mission and activities of JIH. Following this, the attendees were treated to refreshments. The programme concluded with a formal felicitation ceremony, where esteemed personalities, including Aliyar Khan, Sheikh Naeem Sir, and Syed Salman presented shawls and books on Seerat (the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) in Marathi to the journalists as tokens of appreciation.

The journalists expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception and insightful discussions. They commended JIH for organising such a meaningful event and encouraged the group to hold similar programmes in the future. Sheikh Naeem and Aliyar Khan promised to host more such programmes. Prayers were offered for the journalists, seeking Allah’s guidance for them.
