Jaipur: The closing ceremony of the nationwide campaign titled “Morality is Freedom,” organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) for women’s safety, took place at the Pink City Press Club auditorium here. The program began with recitation of Quranic verses by Safura Farheen, followed by a welcome address from City Coordinator Muhammad Imran, who warmly greeted the attendees.

This campaign, led by the JIH women’s wing, was held across the country throughout September. In Jaipur, the women’s wing actively engaged in a range of activities, including seminars, street plays, school lectures, public meetings, and quiz competitions, as well as meetings with people of various faiths. Ramees E.K., National President of Students Islamic Organisation (SIO), who travelled from Delhi to attend the event, urged the youth to lead lives anchored in strong moral values, emphasizing the importance of integrity in shaping the future.

The event was presided over by Muhammad Nazimuddin, JIH Rajasthan State President, who led the audience in a pledge to refrain from all forms of intoxicants, such as tobacco, cigarettes, and beedis. He also urged the attendees to avoid obscene content on the internet and mobile devices, serve their parents with dedication, and work towards eliminating societal evils.

Speakers at the event, including Rubina Abrar, State Women’s Wing Secretary, and Dr. Ayesha Badar, highlighted the vital role women play in countering societal ills, calling for their active involvement in such initiatives alongside men.

During the ceremony, the report on Western Rajasthan Education Movement, spearheaded by SIO Rajasthan, was released by prominent figures including Ramees E.K., Muhammad Nazimuddin, Mufti Zaakir Nomani, Muhammad Adil Saifee, State President SIO Rajasthan, Muhammad Imran, and Salim Akhtar, State Secretary SIO Rajasthan.
