Jaipur, Aug 29: The Women’s Department of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), Rajasthan, held a press conference on Thursday to announce the launch of their “Morality is Freedom” campaign, a nationwide initiative aimed at promoting women’s safety and dignity through the reinforcement of moral values. The month-long campaign, in September, will feature various programs to educate women about the importance of morality, self-respect, and their fundamental rights.
Addressing the press conference, Rubina Abrar, State Secretary of JIH Rajasthan Women’s Department and coordinator of the campaign, outlined its primary goals. “The ‘Morality is Freedom’ campaign seeks to create awareness about the importance of morality and self-respect among women,” she stated. “Through this initiative, we aim to empower women and ensure their safety and dignity.” She elaborated that the campaign would feature a series of activities, including workshops, seminars, and dialogues with different communities.
Sumaiyya Mariam, Assistant Secretary of the Central Women’s Department, further detailed the programs to be conducted at both state and national levels. She highlighted that the campaign would facilitate discussions, workshops, and community engagement to raise awareness about women’s rights and the need for a value-based society. “This initiative is about bringing various communities together to understand the value of morality in ensuring the safety and freedom of women,” she added.
The press conference emphasised that the campaign is a vital effort by JIH to restore ethical values in society and secure a safe environment for women. The campaign aims to empower women by promoting a culture of respect and dignity through educational programs and community dialogues.
By launching this campaign, JIH Rajasthan intends to make a substantial contribution towards addressing the challenges faced by women in society, stressing that the path to freedom is intertwined with moral conduct and self-respect.
