Ranchi: The Ranchi unit of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Jharkhand distributed food packets among the students and staff members of St. Michael Blind School, here Tuesday. Around 100 students were seen happily interacting with JIH Ranchi team members while taking food packets. The caretaker of the school, Rajkumar Nagvanshi, looked after the distribution programme.
The students of the school come from different religious backgrounds. The girl students were more in number in the school.
JIH Ranchi chief Matloob Ahmad delivered a short lecture on the teachings and messages of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. A few people present there were also gifted a book on the Seerah of Prophet Muhmmad ﷺ.
Several members and workers of JIH Ranchi, including Sohail Akhtar, Shamsuddin, Afaque Aslam and Mohammad Sarabil contributed to the event.
