JIH Secretary General T. Arif Ali Lays Foundation Stone for Aligarh Student Centre

Aligarh: T. Arif Ali, Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, laid the foundation stone for the Aligarh Student Centre at the proposed site in Shamshad Market here Monday. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Ramees EK, National President, SIO; Abdul Hafeez, President-Elect, SIO; Zameerul Hasan Falahi, President, JIH UP West, along with other National and Zonal leaders of SIO and distinguished guests.

The Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) envisions the Student Centre as a dynamic space designed to support the holistic development of AMU students. The facility will include residential accommodations, a library, reading rooms, a mosque, and other essential amenities.

More than just a physical structure, the centre aims to serve as a sanctuary for intellectual growth, personal reflection, and community engagement. It will address the diverse needs of students while housing the offices of SIO AMU and SIO UP West Zone. This dedicated platform will foster leadership, academic excellence, and spiritual well-being.

Additionally, the Student Centre will function as a hub for collaboration and empowerment, encouraging students to advocate for justice, support the oppressed, and work toward shared goals of eternal success.
