JIH Sikar congratulates new District Collector Qamar Ul Zaman

Sikar, Jan. 8: A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Sikar led by Ameer-e-Maqami Mohammad Arif on Monday congratulated the newly appointed District Collector Qamar Ul Zaman Chaudhary by presenting him with a bouquet. On this occasion, the delegation introduced the District Collector to the work of JIH and assured all possible help to maintain communal harmony, amity and brotherhood in Sikar district.

The District Collector also assured the delegation that no stone would be left unturned in maintaining peace in the area. Collector Qamar Ul Zaman also said if there is any deficiency, feedback on their work should be given to them from time to time so that the system can be improved.

The delegation included former state president Khurshid Hussain along with Khalid Akhtar, Usman Ghani, Mohammad Yunus, Adil Sarkhel, Shahid Padiyar, Abdul Hameed and Raheem Khan.

Qamar Ul Zaman has taken charge of Sikar District Collector on Monday itself. While talking to the media, the new Collector said that first we will prepare an action plan for the district after taking feedback from all the officials, public representatives and the general public. After that the problems of the area will be identified and work will be done on them.

With the change of government in Rajasthan, many officials, including the District Collector have been transferred. Earlier, Qamar Ul Zaman was the District Collector of Dausa. He also registered his name in the Guinness Book of World Records in Dausa. There, along with his team, he taught more than 3.5 lakh children in 2600 schools about good-touch and bad-touch.

Hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, Qamar Choudhary, a BE in Civil Engineering, has also been the Commissioner of Jodhpur Development Authority before becoming Dausa Collector.

Qamar Chaudhary, a 2014 batch IAS officer, started his service in Rajasthan cadre from the post of Assistant Collector, Bharatpur. He was also the SDM of Girwa Udaipur.

Married to Farha Hussain (IRS officer) daughter of retired IAS officer Ashfaq Hussain, Qamar Chaudhary is also the son-in-law of Rajasthan.
