JIH Telangana Addresses Vital Issues in One-Day Cadre Meet

Hyderabad, Jan. 4: Upcoming general elections are the most crucial in the history of India, opined Dr. Khalid Mubashiruzzafar, Ameer-e-Halqa Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Telangana.

During a one-day Cadre Meet organized by the Political Committee of JIH Telangana, Dr. Khalid emphasized the significance of the upcoming parliamentary elections, deeming them the most crucial in the nation’s history. He expressed concerns about the BJP’s attempts to instigate fascism through hatred and religious animosity, aiming to alter the Constitution. In contrast, he highlighted the secular parties’ commitment to fortifying the social fabric and secular nature of the nation. Dr. Khalid urged the audience to devise a robust strategy and actively work against the rise of communal forces.

Abdul Majeed Shoaib, JIH Telangana Muavin Ameer-e-Halqa and Convenor of Political Affairs Committee asserted that the forthcoming parliamentary elections would shape the political destiny of the country, influencing its political, social, and economic landscape. Recognizing the need to confront upcoming challenges, Shoaib emphasized the importance of practical self-improvement. He urged attendees to prioritize registering on the voter list, increasing voter turnout, fostering relationships with non-Muslim communities, engaging with influential people, and leveraging the expertise of pensioners and seniors. Shoaib proposed a targeted initiative to train at least 40 youth to create political awareness in every assembly constituency, ensuring a pool of 300 youth per parliamentary constituency ready for continuous political engagement.

Abdul Rehman Dawoodi, a Shura member of JIH Telangana, advised against emotionally charged reactions and advocated for a composed approach to matters.

Sadiq Ahmed, another Shura member, proposed the establishment of secular democratic forums in every locality, emphasizing the inclusion of all segments of society.

During the meeting, Kiran Kumar Vissa of Bharat Jodo Andolan shared his perspective, emphasizing the responsibility to prevent injustice and promote justice across all classes. He underscored the collective effort needed to preserve the country’s secular fabric.

Members and selected workers of JIH Telangana from Hyderabad and surrounding districts actively participated in the discussions.
