JIH Telangana Awards Fellowships to Promising Muslim Students

Hyderabad: The Human Resource Development (HRD) Department of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Telangana organised a programme at the regional office in Lakdi-ka-Pul, Hyderabad on Sunday. Dr. Mohammed Khalid Mubasher Uz Zafar, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Telangana, awarded fellowships to the state’s outstanding Muslim students.

Addressing the recipients of the Maulana Abdul Basit Anwar Fellowship for Higher Education 2024, Dr. Zafar encouraged students to enhance their skills and play a leading role in their respective fields. He emphasised that students should contribute to the progress of both the community and the nation through their achievements and services.

Dr. S.M. Fasihullah, Director of HRD, highlighted the fundamental principles of a successful life during the event. He identified discipline and purpose-driven thinking as the cornerstones of success. Additionally, he underscored the importance of maintaining a balance between spiritual and worldly matters.

Fellowship in-charge M.G. Azhar stated that the fellowship recognises the consistent academic performance of students. Over 50 selected students participated in the ceremony. The programme was moderated by Hidayatullah, a member of SIO.
