New Delhi, June 5: The Department of Education of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Telangana has announced the commencement of an online webinar series on Islamic parenting, titled “Islamic Parenting Webinar Series.” This initiative aims to provide guidance to parents and guardians on raising children in accordance with Islamic teachings.
In a statement issued by the JIH President, Syed Sadatullah Husaini, he expressed immense joy at the launch of this series. The primary objective of the series is to equip parents and caregivers with the necessary skills and attributes for the proper upbringing of children, adhering to the principles of Islam.
The first webinar of the series, conducted on June 5th, 2024, at 7:15 PM, featured an enlightening session on conscious parenting by Syed Tanveer Ahmed, Secretary of the Markazi Taleemi Board, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, New Delhi. Ahmed emphasized the significance of conscious parenting in nurturing children with confidence in their Muslim identity. He highlighted the importance of blending Islamic teachings with modern parenting techniques to instill empathy and resilience in children, ensuring their holistic development.
More than 150 members participated in the zoom meeting.
The program concluded with an engaging audience questions and answers session, providing participants with an opportunity to seek clarification on various aspects of conscious parenting and its application in everyday family life.
This initiative underscores JIH’s commitment to promoting holistic Islamic values and principles in contemporary family life, contributing to the well-being and spiritual growth of individuals and communities.
