Hyderabad, Sep 12: Shubhani Khan, the JCB driver who risked his life to rescue nine people trapped in the floodwaters of Munneru River on Prakash Nagar Bridge, was honored by the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Telangana State President.
Shubhani Khan demonstrated exceptional bravery, declaring, “If I perish, so be it; if I survive, I will save ten people,” as he worked tirelessly to rescue the individuals stranded in the rising waters.
At a ceremony held at the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind State Office in Hyderabad, Shubhani Khan was felicitated and presented with a check for ₹25,000. The event was attended by Dr. Khalid Mubashshir Uz Zafar, State President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Telangana; Abdul Hafiz, State President of the Students Islamic Organization (SIO) Telangana; prominent social activist Khalida Parveen; and other members of the organization.
