New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) concluded the first phase of its campus placement drive for Batch 2025, with the highest package reaching an impressive Rs.24.5 lakh per annum, offered by Homecentre Landmark. Cisco followed closely with a top package of Rs.24 lakh per annum.
The placement season witnessed robust participation from around 40 esteemed companies, including Optum (Rs 18 LPA), McKinley Rice (Rs 16 LPA), Zenon Analytics (Rs 14 LPA), Accenture (Rs 11.89 LPA), and ICICI Bank (Rs 11.5 LPA). Other recruiters like TCS, L&T, and AtkinsRealis offered competitive packages, underscoring the university’s appeal among top employers.
Prof. Rahela Farooqi, Honorary Director of the University Placement Cell, expressed satisfaction with the outcomes, highlighting the diversity of opportunities provided to students. She shared that the next phase of placements, scheduled for January 2025, aims to build on this success by bringing more prominent recruiters to the campus.
