Vaniyambadi: A joint protest was organised in front of the LIC Office, Vaniyambadi, by various political and social organisations, condemning the aggressive actions of the United States of America and Israel in West Asia.
Leaders from different parties addressed the gathering, expressing concern over escalating tensions and calling for respect for international law and national sovereignty. Participants raised slogans demanding justice, peace, and global accountability.
Speaking at the protest, K. Faseeh Akram, District President of the Welfare Party of India, Tirupattur North District, strongly condemned the assassination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran. He described the act as a violation of international norms and warned that such actions could further destabilise the region.
The speakers urged the international community and the United Nations to take immediate steps toward de-escalation and peaceful dialogue. They emphasised that disputes between nations must be resolved through diplomacy rather than violence.
The protest concluded peacefully, with organisers reiterating their commitment to justice, peace, and global stability.
