New Delhi, Feb. 5: Justice Ashok Bhushan, former Supreme Court Judge and current NCLAT Chairperson unveiled Dr. Ashok Kumar Mishra’s path-breaking guide titled “Guide to Commercial Contract Management” at an event held at Jamia Hamdard here Friday.
The ceremony, attended by esteemed dignitaries, witnessed the presence of Vice Chancellor of Jamia Hamdard Prof. Afsar Alam, Prof. Saleena K. Basheer (Dean, HILSR), Prof. Dr. Anupam Jha (Professor-In-charge Law Centre-2, Delhi University), and Dr. Sneha Sharma (Department of Justice). Prof. Farhat Basir Khan, a prominent figure in the Communication and academic realm, graced the occasion, celebrating the significant contribution of Dr. Mishra to the field.
Dr. (CA) Ashok Kumar Mishra, a distinguished expert in Insolvency, Finance, Corporate Governance, and Contract Management, hailing from the humble village of Nahas Rupauli in Bihar, has achieved commendable milestones. His comprehensive guide explores the nuances of contract management in manufacturing and defence sectors, emphasizing best practices, dispute resolutions, risk mitigation, financial analysis, and regulatory and legal management. The book provides invaluable insights and practical guidance for professionals, academics, and students in the legal and management field, with specific attention to provisions such as limitation on liability, liquidated damages, force majeure, and patenting strategies.
Having served as the former Director Finance and CFO at HAL BANGALORE – a Defence PSU, and as an NCLT and NCLAT member, Dr. Mishra’s expertise adds depth to the content of the book. He expressed gratitude to TAXMANN management and officials for their swift publishing process.
Justice Bhushan praised Dr. Mishra for his expeditious disposal of cases while serving as a Member at NCLAT, highlighting his high integrity.
