Nov. 29: Thousands of Pro-Palestinian demonstrators blocked entrance and exit of New York’s Manhattan bridge on Sunday. This protest was organised by Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) in which more than 1500 people marked their presence.

These pro-Palestinian activists marched from Brooklyn to Manhattan bridge, demanding permanent ceasefire in Gaza, raising slogans and snarling traffic for more than three hours on one of the busiest travel days of the year because of the final day of Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Elena Stein, the Director of JVP said the protesters disrupted the traffic as they wanted to make sure that no business should go as usual, in light of the inhumane situation prevailing in Palestine. This was also part of their aim.

Also, multiple protestors were taken into custody, but till now, there is no information regarding any charges filed against them.
