King Salman Academy Launches Third Arabic Program for Non-Native Speakers

Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language has opened applications for the third edition of its Arabic study program for non-native speakers at the Abjad Center in Riyadh.

The program, designed with an advanced academic methodology, will accept applications until March 15, with in-person classes set to begin on September 1, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), the program offers a structured learning experience across four levels, each spanning two months. The curriculum covers reading, writing, listening, and speaking, with 160 instructional hours per level and an average of 20 hours per week. Additionally, cultural activities are incorporated to immerse students in the Arabic-speaking environment.

The initiative has gained significant global interest. The first edition received 16,140 applications from 162 nationalities, with 130 students from 34 nationalities admitted. The second edition saw even greater enthusiasm, attracting 16,472 applications from 126 nationalities, leading to the selection of 150 students from around 40 countries.

By offering structured Arabic language education, the academy aims to enhance linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding among international learners.
