Kuwait fired Indians, who celebrated the inauguration of the Ram Temple, distributing sweets at their workplace, from their jobs. The fired Indians were also repatriated, multiple reports said.

Those fired from jobs and asked to leave the country were nine Indians, working in two different companies in Kuwait. They celebrated the inauguration of the temple, which was built over the injured sentiments of Babri Masjid, which once stood in the same spot before being demolished on December 6, 1992 by a Hindutva mob.

On Monday, the nine Indians distributed sweets in their respective workspaces, expressing their happiness. Their respective employers took immediate action against them and they were repatriated on Monday night itself.

It was on Monday that Ram Temple in Ayodhya was inaugurated at a function mostly dominated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and attended by officials of the temple construction trust besides political leaders of the Hindutva school.
