Learning and Teaching Islamic Education is a Blessed Act

Bengaluru: Learning and teaching Islamic education is a blessed act. Congratulations to those who spread Islam and introduce its basic teachings to the new generation. These views were expressed by Riyaz Ahmed Ron, Secretary, Board of Islamic Education Karnataka, at the annual gathering organised by Madarsatul Islamia, run by Roshan Educational Trust, in Valmiki Nagar, Bengaluru.

In his inaugural remarks, Dr. Syed Faqruddin Qazi, Mauvin Nazime Shehar, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Bengaluru Metro, said that along with modern education, parents should also focus on their children’s Islamic education for success in this world and the hereafter. “It is essential to adorn children with religion; only then will they achieve success. Madarsatul Islamia is making every effort to instil the true spirit of Islam and the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah in the new generation.”

Students who performed exceptionally well and won awards were honoured on this occasion. The programme was attended by Iqbal Ahmed Gadiyal, Ameer Maqami of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Mysore Road; Imtiaz Ahmed, Trustee of Roshan Educational Trust; Ali Koya, Dr. Mohammad Imran, and other guests, parents, and students. Maulana Mustaqim served as the convener. The children presented Hamd, Naat, and delivered speeches on various Islamic topics.
