Let Women Actively Involve in Bringing Positive Changes in Society: Syed Sadatullah Husaini

New Delhi: The Women’s Department of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) organised a Tanzeemi and Tarbiyati camp at the JIH headquarters in the national capital from August 27 to 29. The primary objective of this event was to enhance the capabilities of state-level JIH women secretaries, office bearers and executive committee members, equipping them for effective planning and execution during the current four-year term.

Ameer-e-Jamaat, Syed Sadatullah Husaini, highlighted the significant role played by women within the organisation, citing three major developments: increase in man-hours, rise in the number of educated females, and advancements in technology. He pointed out that these opportunities, unimaginable a decade ago, have now enabled the organisation to harness the power of women on a significant scale.

The JIH Ameer also emphasised that this is a pivotal turning point, and the organisation should swiftly capitalise on it. He shared three key points: harvesting the skills and talents of all women, optimising available time, and recognising the role of motherhood.

With the enthusiastic participation of 97 dedicated members, the event commenced with the Inspiration from the Qur’ān session by National Asst. Secretary Asiya Tasneem followed by the introductory address of   National Secretary Shaista Rafat, who explained the background of the term plan and the importance of the camp. Eng. Mohammad Salim, JIH National Vice President, delivered the inaugural address emphasising the significance of collective efforts in advancing the organisation’s mission.

Esteemed speakers included Maulana Waliullah Sayeedi Falahi, JIH National Vice President, who laid special emphasis on the pivotal role of spiritual growth in furthering the organisation’s mission. Mohammad Atiqur Rahman, Secretary HRD Department JIH, introduced various leadership approaches and situational leadership concepts, fostering interactive activities centred on the topic. Additionally, a dedicated session was conducted to enhance media literacy, featuring practical workshops led by National Media Secretary, KK Suhail.

JIH National Secretary Rahamathunnissa A. elaborated the strategic aspects of Markaz Meeqati Mansooba of Khawateen (Four years term plan of National JIH Women Wing), highlighting the importance of self-development plan to effectively take forward the Meeqati mission.

Throughout the training, discussions spanned a wide range of topics, encompassing insights from the Hadith, leadership approaches, strategic dimensions, self-development planning, organisational structures, expansion strategies, and effective task management. The training methodology incorporated structured group activities, fostering collaborative learning among participants. These groups engaged deeply with pertinent topics related to Meeqati Mansooba and subsequently presented their findings, receiving constructive feedback.

JIH Vice President Malik Moatasim Khan, Secretary Muhiuddin Shakir, Director Atiya Siddiqua, Assistant Secretaries of Women’s Department Arefa Parveen, Rabia Basri, Sumaiya Maryam, Mubashira Khan, and the Executive Committee members Meenaz Bhanu and Dr Sana Tazeen Fatima also addressed the gathering in different sessions.

The Tanzeemi and Tarbiyati camp served as a dynamic platform for learning, growth, and collaboration, equipping participants with the knowledge and tools necessary for effective planning and execution.
