Kozhikode: In a moment of recognition for journalistic excellence, Madhyamam Daily’s Joint Editor, P.I. Noushad, has been conferred with the prestigious V Karunakaran Nambiar Award for Best Editorial. The accolade, presented annually, celebrates outstanding editorial contributions in Malayalam journalism, as per a report by the Madhyamam.
Noushad was selected for his thought-provoking editorial titled “Naduvil Thanne Njanumundu”, which stood out for its depth, clarity, and relevance to contemporary socio-political discourse. The award was presented at a function held in Kozhikode, attended by leading figures in media and literature.
Instituted in memory of veteran journalist V Karunakaran Nambiar, the award aims to encourage and honour editorial writing that upholds journalistic values and sparks meaningful dialogue.
