Bundi (Rajasthan), Jan. 18: An edu-motivational program was held at Madrasa Gausiya Khidmatul Muslimeen here. On this occasion, Rajasthan Madrasa Board, Jaipur distributed two pairs of school uniforms to 63 children of the madrasa, and the madrasa staff distributed shoes to all students.
Chairing the program, Anees Ahmed, State Convener of All Rajasthan State Employees Joint Mahasangh (Ekikrit), explained the importance of education and drew parents’ attention to the problem of dropouts and appealed to find a solution. He motivated them to educate their children so that they could illuminate the name of India all over the world.
Speaking as Chief Guest, Mufti Alam Raza Gauri, founder of United Development and Education Society (UDE) and Director of Maryam Darsgah, explained the meaning of the word knowledge (Ilm), saying everyone must acquire worldly and religious knowledge to be successful in life here and hereafter.
Ummehabiba Jilani, Joint Secretary of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Bundi District, emphasized girls’ education and motivated them to take an interest in other co-educational activities along with education.
Special Guest Dr. Zakir Hussain motivated the children to come to school regularly by telling motivational stories. Special guest District President of Rajasthan Adhikari Karmchari Minority Association Anwar Ahmed also expressed his views.
Institutional head Yasmeen Bano said parents of most of the students work as laborers. With the receipt of uniforms, the students will be able to come to school, wearing school uniforms, which will also boost their confidence.
Speaking as Special Guest, UDE Secretary Ejaz Ali announced that very soon free-of-cost identity cards will be made available to all the children studying in Madrasa. Six plastic chairs were also given to the madrasa by philanthropists.
Madrasa Sadar Aslam Qureshi and Secretary Wasim Qureshi welcomed all the guests. SMC President Raisa Begum, Maulana Ajmal Hussain, Education Instructor Zahid Jilani, Computer Instructor Shakeel Kazi, Irfan Ansari, Nafees Ansari from AMP Group, parents Guddi, Razia, Javed Ansari, Chaman Begum and others were present.
