Jaipur: On December 10, Human Rights Day was commemorated with enthusiasm at Madrasa Jamia Tayyaba Memorial School, Nahari ka Naka, Jaipur.
Qari Mohammad Ishaq, Director of the madrasa, and Parveen Bano, Vice Principal, emphasised the significance of the day. They remarked that Human Rights Day represents a remarkable achievement for humanity, affirming the principles of equality and dignity as inalienable rights for all individuals. They highlighted that this day underscores the universal truth that no one can deprive a person of these rights.
Human Rights Day marks the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948. This milestone document conveyed the powerful message that fundamental rights – such as the right to life, liberty, freedom of expression, thought, and equality – are inherent to every individual, regardless of caste, religion, colour, or gender.
Syed Sahibe Alam, President of National Muslim Mahasabha, shared details about the event. The programme witnessed active participation from all students and staff of the madrasa.
