Hyderabad, April 5: The Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) Students’ Union fervently denounces the ongoing genocide orchestrated by the Israeli Zionist regime against the innocent Palestinian populace. As champions of justice and human rights, we stand in unwavering solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians amidst these turbulent times.
The relentless onslaught on Gaza, the egregious forced evictions, and the savage suppression of peaceful demonstrations flagrantly violate international law and the fundamental principles of human decency. The indiscriminate targeting of civilians, including the most vulnerable among them, underscores the urgent need to address this humanitarian catastrophe.
In response to these egregious atrocities, the MANUU Students’ Union convened a Palestine Solidarity Gathering on the auspicious last Friday of Ramadan, globally recognized as Quds Day. Our objective is to galvanize students, faculty, and members of the community in unequivocally condemning the violence and extending steadfast support to the Palestinian cause.
“We implore all individuals of conscience to join us in vehemently decrying this injustice and advocating for the rights of the Palestinian people. Together, we can amplify our collective voice and convey an unequivocal message that we will not countenance the oppression and brutality inflicted upon innocent civilians. Furthermore, we urge everyone to participate in the boycott campaign against Israeli products, fostering a potent form of resistance against its systematic oppression of Palestinians,” said the MANUU Students’ Union President Mateen Ashraf.
