Pune: The Marathi translation of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri’s book “A True Sketch of the Life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ”, titled “Preshit Muhammad ﷺ Yanche Jeevanache Tatvartha Rekhatan”, was launched at Patrakar Bhavan, Pune, under the auspices of Minhaj-ul-Quran International India Youth Committee. Esteemed literary writer Shashikala Roy from Savitribai Phule Pune University formally released the book in the presence of dignitaries, including former Deputy Mayor Dr. Siddharth Dhende, Republican Yuva Morcha leader Rahul Dumbale, and social activists Anjum Inamdar, Mushtaq Walvi, Kaleem Azeem, and others.
In her address, Shashikala Roy highlighted the book’s 63 chapters and emphasized its significance in dispelling misconceptions about Islam. She remarked that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ deeply cared for widows and orphans, advocating their welfare as an act of justice. She also cited the Prophet’s ﷺ emphasis on education, stressing that an educated community advances and prospers.
Rahul Dumbale underscored the importance of time management in the Prophet’s ﷺ teachings, noting his dedication to worship, family, and social welfare. He praised the book’s authentic portrayal of the Prophet’s ﷺ exemplary character and its potential to foster a better understanding of Islam among Marathi-speaking communities. The book aims to bridge gaps between faiths and promote an accurate perspective on Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ life.
