New Delhi, Sep 9: The Markazi Taleemi Board has taken a significant step towards expanding access to Islamic education by launching Hindi version of its Islamic Studies books designed for part-time Islamic classes. The launch event was graced by the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), Syed Sadatullah Husaini, along with key dignitaries, including the Secretary General of JIH, Mr. T. Arif Ali, Chairman of Markazi Taleemi Board, Prof. Mohammad Salim Engineer, Board Secretary, Syed Tanveer Ahmed, Maulana Inamullah Falahi, Coordinator of Islamic Studies, and other prominent board members.
The board had previously published four volumes of its “Islamiyat for Part-time Islamic Classes” series in Urdu. Now, the first two volumes are available in Hindi, with the remaining volumes slated for release soon. These books are specifically designed to provide foundational Islamic education to students enrolled in private and government schools who otherwise lack access to such learning. The curriculum covers essential topics such as Quranic recitation, memorization of Surahs, Hadith, and important prayers.
This initiative to publish Hindi versions is part of the Markazi Taleemi Board’s broader mission to make Islamic education accessible to a wider audience. In line with this goal, the board has also announced plans to develop a mobile app that will allow students to learn Islamic studies in both online and offline modes. The app will be globally accessible, enabling students from any region to engage with lessons at their convenience. It will feature video lessons by teachers, interactive quizzes, and assessments designed to enhance the learning experience.
Beyond the publication of Islamic studies materials, the Markazi Taleemi Board continues to produce educational resources across various subjects, including English, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Geography, and History. These materials aim to support both the academic and moral development of students.
Educators, students, and parents are encouraged to explore the wide range of educational resources available on the Markazi Taleemi Board’s website and stay updated with its ongoing educational initiatives.
